As the trip comes to an end we decided to try visiting the cupola of St. Peter’s again in the morning. However, we were surprised that the line was even longer than on Sunday. So we bailed on that and went over to the Spanish Steps.

We then wandered around Rome and got lunch before we headed for the train station.

It turned out the trains were running late. One came but we decided to wait for our train because the one that came was so crowded. However, never let a train pass when it Italy. We relearned that because all subsequent trains got cancelled. We managed to grab a taxi and get to the airport and I made my flight.

It was a great trip and fun to get away. Looking forward to seeing everyone when I get home.
